Virginia Hartman
Virginia (Ginny) Hartman is a Texas native and has lived in San Antonio since April of 1984. Ms. Hartman has received her Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Arts with a major in Human Resources from the University of the Incarnate Word. She joined Alamo City Barber College in 2020 to fulfill the Financial Aid position where she brings a wealth of knowledge spanning over 30 years. Ginny’s favorite pass time is reading books.
Marissa Limon
Marissa Limon is originally from Lubbock Texas but moved to Dallas Texas in 2001. Marissa moved to San Antonio in 2016 and has been employed at Alamo City Barber College since she moved. When she is not working, Marissa enjoys working out and writing poetry. Her favorite thing to do is spending time with her kids as she is a proud Navy mom!
Linda Terrazas
Linda Terrazas is a San Antonio native and has always lived in San Antonio. She joined Alamo City Barber College in 2017 as an admission advisor assisting prospective students with the enrollment process to become licensed barbers. Linda has a son and grandson and enjoys spending time with her family. Her hobbies include traveling, hiking & spending time at casinos.
Leona Williams
Leona Williams was born in Miami, Florida and is an Air Force brat, who moved from city to city throughout her childhood. Ms. Williams and her family eventually settled in San Antonio where she was raised in the Converse area. She has been in the education industry since 1992 and brings experience in all areas to include admissions, academics, student retention, and financial aid. Leona has 2 children and 7 grandchildren who are the light of her life.
Instructors
Marisol Gonzales
Marisol Gonzales was born and raised in San Antonio. She obtained her Cosmetology license from Milan Cosmetology in 2006 and her Barber license from Alamo City Barber College in 2018. She then obtained her Barber Instructor license from Enrichment Barber College in 2021. With over 20 years in the hair industry Mrs. Gonzales really enjoys teaching all aspects of barbering. She enjoys partaking in outdoor activities as well as spending time with her family.
Emma Mathis
Emma Mathis is a Texas native and has lived in San Antonio since early childhood. She received her Cosmetology and Cosmetology Instructors license from American Beauty College. Ms. Mathis then received her Associates Degree in Applied Science from St. Phillips College. She joined Alamo City Barber College in 2011 and received both her Barber and Barber Instructor licenses. Emma has been an independent contractor at Shampoo Hair & Nails for 30+ years. Her favorite pass time is tennis and cooking.
Susan Arocha
Susan Arocha is from San Antonio, TX. She is a U.S. Navy Veteran. She attended Coastal Bend Community College, where she completed her Cosmetology Instructor Program. Susan has been in the Beauty Industry for 15 years, and has been a licensed Instructor for 13 years. Susan is a Paul Mitchell trained stylist and instructor. She attended Alamo City Barber College to receive her Barber Instructors License.
Hondree Nance
Hondree Nance is from Lake View, South Carolina. He attended and subsequently graduated from Harris Barber College of Raleigh, North Carolina. Mr. Nance has been a practicing Barber for 26 years. Mr. Nance is a well respected Barber in the San Antonio, metropolitan area with well over 300 clients. Mr. Nance completed his Barber Instructor’s course at Williams Barber College here in San Antonio. Mr. Nance is married and has 4 children.
